The Fight
G David Schwartz
You put up the good fight
And fought the good fought
Now you’re going to bed
Whether you like it or not
I’ll see you at breakfast
So go have pleasant dreams
Where you like it or not
Give kisses no please
Now go on up the stairs
And get in your bed
Set your mind into stoic
And put a pillow to your head.
Its nite nite time so up, up, up, you go
Climb into your crib, go and be gone
We’ve wrested for an hour
Just to get PJ’s on
So bow your head
Your pretty pretty head
And shove yourself
Into bed.
