Ernesto Levy
"He revives the alphabet with all its untapped potential, a scarab, a thunderbolt, a mask, each object bathed in timeless lore, with a meaning so profund that only poets can caress it with timid verbal strokes, hoping to charm the object momentarily -- but never able to engage it for posterity's continual amusement." -- Edward Shaw -- Buenos Aires Herald Tribune

Ernesto Levy was born in Argentina. In 1972 he went to Israel where he completed architectural studies and continued his artistic work. A participant in many group shows, he also regularly holds solo exhibitions and installations in Israel, Europe and Latin America, in both galleries and museums. All his works are unique pieces, which can be found in museum and private collections in Israel, Europe and Argentina. Articles about his work have appeared in magazines such as Vernissage Art Magazine in Holland, Bres Magazine, also in Holland, FotoMundo in Argentina, and others.
