THE MINIATURES |
Batia Lichansky started her sculptural creations in Berlin, in 1923. With over seventy pieces of tiny wood figures (from cm. 3 x 4.5 x 5). The principles that were to guide her over the years were formed then: the bold line, the stong inner expression and the symbolic movement. Lichansky's miniatures have remarkable monumental quality. |
