BUSTS
Batia Lichansky sculpted over 200 busts of which almost half represent Israel's labor movement leaders, presidents, artists, youth, family members and others close to her. The rest are more of an expression of the artistsinner world. Batia's busts are concentrated on the subject's body contours and natural characteristics - either a gentle expression (Yocheved Bat-Miriam,1949), or a forceful presence (Ben-Gurion, 1960).
