Travels through Life by Millie Jackson

I know that you have suffered so much hurt in your life, trying to live up to others' expectations of you. I pray the day will come when you know that the person you are is a kind and good person, that all you need to do is to be yourself. That God loves you and that you are special in His eyes. That Jesus Christ never rode, never build big houses or traveled the world, that he in his simple way was the greatest man who ever lived. He showed compassion and love for others. I have always saw in you a caring and humble man.
Jesus Christ was a simple man. You can only lay in one bed at a time or eat so much food, he promised us food and shelter and love. We don't need the other things in life to make us happy. We just have to love yourself because until we love ourselves we can't love others. Jesus Christ said, when he said to love your neighbor as yourself he tells us he loves us and to love God. He also tells us to forgive our self as he forgive us. We can't forgive others and not ourselves. We also have to forgive ourselves if we can help others in life, to carry the load as he did. He spent his life helping others because he knew that his reward is in his father's hands.
Yes, he was a simple man, he didn't let the things of the world put a hold on him. He trusted in his father and knew that when it's all said and done it's helping others that counts.
And I see in you at times that you would give a person the shirt off your back. I know that God sees the heart, and your heart is a good one.
