    A LETTER FROM YOUR NAME

Once I heard a song of sweetness as it filled the morning air, like a tender, pleasing prayer. And I sought to find its singer till I found a bird so sorely wounded. Pinned by an ugly thorn. While it sang in pain, giving hope and gladness that should bless a weeping world. Soon I learned a life of sweetness was of pain and sorrow born. For this stricken bird was singing with its heart against a thorn.

You're told of one who loves you, of a Saviour crucified. You're told of nails pinned and a spear that pierced his side. You're told of one who loves you of a Saviour bearing thorns. You are not above the Master, will you breathe a sweet refrain that His grace will be sufficient when your heart is pierced with pain. Will you live to bless His loved ones, though your heart be bruised and torn. Like a bird who sings so sweetly with his heart against a thorn?
