According to a Jewish legend, "teena" - "a fig" - is a tree of knowledge good and evil. "Teena" strives to promote integration of the new citizens into Israeli society and their participation in the public discourse. "Teena" society incorporates Russian-speaking writers, journalists, and representatives of academic institutions. The activities of the society have become widespread and manifold, encompassing numerous participants all over the country.
Today's Situation"The army that will defeat terrorism doesn't wear uniforms, or drive Humvees, or calls in air-strikes. It doesn't have a high command, or high security, or a high budget. The army that can defeat terrorism does battle quietly, clearing minefields and vaccinating children. It undermines military dictatorships and military lobbyists.
