Friendship Village is an international center to education for multicultural society, peace & democracy. A building facility in the Galilean Arab town of Shefa Amer (Shefaram) is still in stage of planning. Since 1998 the Organization run Israeli - Palestinian and Israeli Jewish-Arab educational projects. Among the educational projects are: Talk Peace - Make Peace 2001: one year long seminar for young Israeli and Palestinian political leaders, in order to learn about each other and to build bridges. The Way for Coexistence includes a series of workshops for Israeli Jewish and Arab teenagers, tomeet each other, to brake barriers and to build trust. Let's know each other is an interfaith project for teenagers too. Since the last Palestinian uprising joint educational activities stopped, however contact between leadership of the two sides is keeping on.

Today's Situation
